An Industrial-Luxe Setting in Leeds

Adam and Laura chose New Craven Hall for their wedding — a venue with a past as interesting as the celebration itself. Once a warehouse known as Vox, hosting underground gigs and club nights in the heart of Leeds, it’s since been transformed into one of the city’s most distinctive wedding spaces: exposed brick walls, huge metal beams, and warm lighting that turns a former industrial shell into something genuinely romantic.

That contrast — raw, urban bones dressed up for a wedding — gave New Craven Hall a character unlike anywhere else we’ve shot, and it suited Adam and Laura’s style perfectly.

Getting Ready and the Ceremony

The morning had that familiar buzz of nervous excitement, Laura surrounded by her closest friends as the final touches came together. New Craven Hall’s Main Hall transforms for civil ceremonies into a cosy, intimate space, and with the exposed brick and soft lighting as a backdrop, it made for a ceremony that felt both relaxed and genuinely striking — a world away from a traditional church or hotel function room.

Family, Friends and the Bar

Once the vows were done, the day opened up into a proper celebration. New Craven Hall’s bar area, leading straight off the Main Hall, gave guests somewhere easy to gather and mingle — family and friends catching up over drinks, kids weaving between the tables, that familiar hum of a room full of people who are genuinely pleased to be there for Adam and Laura.

Dancing Into the Night

As the evening set in, the warm lighting really came into its own, and the dance floor filled up fast. New Craven Hall’s late licence meant the celebrations carried on well into the night, laughter and dancing right through to the end. It was a wedding that made full use of everything this unique Leeds venue has to offer.
