Wakefield Wedding Gallery

Wakefield Wedding Gallery — real weddings I’ve photographed across Yorkshire venues, from Holmfield Arms to Wakefield Town Hall. Every wedding here is a genuine client day, not a styled shoot — the golden-hour portraits, the quiet moments between speeches, the laughter during the reception. Have a browse through and get a feel for how I actually work, then get in touch if you’d like to talk through your own day.

More About These Wakefield Weddings

Every wedding in this gallery is a real client day, photographed exactly as it happened. No styled shoots, no staged set-ups — just honest coverage of couples getting married across Yorkshire, from grand civic buildings to relaxed countryside venues.

Some of the most memorable days have taken place at The Holmfield Arms, where Jaysie and Michael’s relaxed countryside wedding made the most of golden-hour light across the grounds. At Hatfeild Hall, Rachel and Anthony’s day paired grand hall interiors with quieter, candid moments between the two of them — a good example of how a venue’s architecture can shape the whole feel of a gallery. Over at Dimple Well Lodge in Ossett, Lorraine and Mick kept things intimate, with close family moments and an easy, unhurried pace running through the day.

Weddings further afield have brought their own character too. Leeds gave Amber and Scott’s day a sharper, city-led backdrop, while New Craven Hall offered Adam and Laura a stylish, industrial-chic setting with plenty of texture for the photos. Pontefract Town Hall lent Jade and Stephanie’s ceremony a sense of civic elegance that carried through into every shot, and closer to home, Wakefield Town Hall was the setting for Tom and Mary’s vows, with classic architectural backdrops and a reception full of heartfelt speeches.

Out at Waterton Hall, Kevin and Amzy made full use of the venue’s grounds, with soft natural light running through their couple portraits. And in York, Damon and Dean’s wedding blended the city’s historic streets with intimate, personal moments throughout the day — proof that a great gallery isn’t about the venue alone, but about the people in front of the camera.

What ties all of these weddings together isn’t a particular venue or style of building — it’s the same honest, unposed approach to photography, wherever the day takes place. I stay out of the way, let the day unfold naturally, and focus on capturing the moments that actually happened rather than directing a series of poses. That’s true whether the venue is a grand hall, a countryside lodge, or a city-centre building, and it’s the same approach every couple gets, regardless of which wedding photography package they choose.

If you’ve seen a venue here that matches where you’re getting married — or you’re just after a photographer whose style feels right for your day — I’d love to hear from you. Get in touch and tell me a bit about your wedding, and I’ll let you know straight away whether your date’s still free.
