Waterton Hall at Walton is around twenty minutes away, a Georgian mansion on its own island in a 26-acre lake, reached by an iron footbridge. It’s one of the most romantic settings in the region, and you can see Amzy and Kevin’s wedding there. Pontefract’s town hall and castle are also within easy reach.
