Five Leeds Wedding Venues for a Perfect Day
Five very different places to get married in and around Leeds, including two where I’ve photographed real weddings.
Leeds has a venue for every kind of couple. Here are five that show the range, from industrial city spaces to stately homes.
1. New Craven Hall
A characterful city venue with real industrial charm. I photographed Adam and Laura’s wedding here, and it’s a fantastic place for couples who want something with a bit of edge.
2. The Irish Centre, Leeds
A big, friendly venue that knows how to throw a party. Dean and Damon married in York and brought everyone back here for a brilliant celebration.
3. Oulton Hall
A grand country house hotel south of the city, with formal gardens that are made for portraits. A good choice if you want a classic, elegant day.
4. Harewood House
One of the great stately homes of Yorkshire, set in huge grounds north of Leeds. If you want the full country-estate experience, it’s hard to beat.
5. The Queens Hotel
An Art Deco landmark next to Leeds station, ideal for a glamorous city wedding where guests can arrive by train.
